Excellent news about Mr. C It's as if we hold our breath until they are acting normally again, then finally take a breath. His incisions look good and clean, and as the vet said, closed. Great news on that front. I can't see what's wrong with her eye. Could it be a hay poke? Is there a little cloudy spot on her eye? If so, you can get an eye gel at the pet store, and just follow the directions. Sometimes they put their faces down to eat hay, and just put their eye right into a piece that doesn't bend under the pressure. If that's what it is, the vet will give you the eye gel, so you really can just buy it yourself. If it's something else, I hope the vet can tell from the picture, and you don't have to take poor Snuggie to visit the vet.

This is the Guinea Lynx section on eyes: www.guinealynx.info/eyes.htmlThere is a white substance that is normally secreted to help with cleaning. Could it be that?

I am soooooooooooo pleased to read that Mr C has turned a corner and has even been rumblestrutting, that's such great news. I really hope that continues. It sounds like your vet did a thorough job of making sure it wasn't anything more serious.
What a tinker pulling his stitches out though, but I'm glad the vets aren't worried. My vets use surgical glue much of the time now to prevent this, but in the past I've had pigs remove their stitches and had to have wounds restitched and then wear plastic collars - that part is no fun for them!
Glad Snuggie's eye was a false alarm - it does just look like the cleaning fluid from the picture, but I can remember the first time I saw it and panicking. I think I'd just given the pig a rare bath when it started, so I assumed I'd got something in their eye! They do keep us on their toes!
You've probably earned yourself a few grey hairs over the last week or so, but everything is crossed for Mr C's continued recovery and the safe arrival of Snuggie's babies.

Hi everyone Mr C is back to his normal self after he removed all of his stitches. But I have noticed with Snuggie her babies are no longer moving? I keep looking over her to see if I can see them kick and I can not see anything anymore. I am so worried that something happen to the babies

That's great news about Mr. C, and I certainly hope nothing has happened to Snuggies babies! Are you going to take her to the vet, or just wait a bit and see if anything changes? I've never had a pregnant pig, so I have no idea what it's like.

I have called my vet she said to continue to wait as long as she is eating and drinking there isn't much that can be done and to hope the babies start to move. I'm praying maybe it's getting time for them to come and that's why they are not moving. I sure hope nothing has happen

Babies can move around a bit less when it's getting closer to the time to be born and they're running out of space. You might still be able to feel some movement if she'll tolerate it (distract her with her favourite veg and try to lay your hand gently on her). I'd keep a close eye on her for any other signs that she's unwell or any changes, and continue to keep in close contact with your vet if anything at all concerns you. Hopefully all is well, and she will pop those babies out soon and put your mind at ease.
Glad Mr C is back to his usual self. Hope the wounds are looking good and nice and clean.
Fingers remain crossed here! x
